A mineral pigment lip pencil with a soft formula, made to fill in lips easily without tugging at delicate skin. Jane Iredale makes it with conditioning oils and waxes, so it blends well and works as a lip base. It is durable enough to give a long-lasting base to the colour you layer over it.

How to wear it

Line the lips, then fill them in. Follow with lipstick or lip gloss. Sharpen it with a Jane Iredale sharpener to keep a rounded point. Jane Iredale notes that other sharpeners will split the wood.

Good to know

  • Eleven shades: Nude, Peach, Rose, Warm Rose, Spice, Terra Cotta, Nutmeg, Cocoa, Berry, Classic Red and Aubergine.
  • Nutmeg, Nude and Cocoa are listed as vegan by Jane Iredale. The other shades are not. All shades are wheat-free, as stated by Jane Iredale.
  • Jane Iredale also suggests wearing it on its own as a lip colour, or using it as an eyeliner.
